Ferry views and a farm lunch provide a true Seattle experience. Tucked into Bainbridge Island, Heyday Farm is a family-owned 25-acre sustainable and historic farm waiting for you to explore. Tour the farm and discover the natural bounty that flourishes in this region, then savor a delightful meal in the Barn prepared by two local chefs.
Tad Mitsui, Executive Chef & Proprietor at Heyday Farm, is a native of Bainbridge Island who has always prided himself on sound culinary techniques and sourcing high quality ingredients. His formal training in the SCCC Culinary program opened the door to many opportunities within Tom Douglas’s kitchens. Heyday Farm has provided the perfect opportunity for Chef Tad to return to his roots and plant a seed for the future generations.
Chef Zoi Antonitsas is known for her inspired Mediterranean dishes with a focus on seasonal ingredients. Passionate about food, wine, spirits and hospitality, Zoi has more than 20 years’ experience in the restaurant industry. Her long line of successful roles include Chef de Cuisine at Madison Park Conservatory in Seattle, Zazu Restaurant in Santa Rosa, Presidio Social Club in San Francisco, and a variety of other positions at award-winning restaurants across the west coast.
