Position Descriptions - Directions
Thank you for volunteering to be a part of Taste Washington! Below is some useful information.
Parking
- Thursday & Friday Positions: Volunteers are able to park in the East Hall. To access the East Hall you enter through the CenturyLink Field North Lot and advise the parking attendant that you are a Taste Washington Volunteer going to the East Hall. Click here for directions.
- Saturday & Sunday Positions: We are unable to provide parking for volunteers during the Saturday & Sunday volunteers. Parking is available at the CenturyLink Field Garage at $11 per day. Street parking may also be available.
Check-In
- Thursday & Friday Positions: After parking your car in the East Hall proceed to the roll up doors leading into the Main Hall. Volunteer check-in will be located on the left prior to entering the Main Hall.
- Saturday & Sunday Positions: Proceed to the East Hall Entrance located off South Royal Brougham Way. Volunteer check-in will be located just inside the glass doors into the East Hall (located across from the elevators to the garage).
Dress Code
- Set Up & Load-In Positions: The dress code is casual. We do request that you wear close-toed shoes. Please note, it can be cold in the hall! Please keep that in mind and dress warmly.
- Seminar & Grand Tasting Positions: The dress code is business casual. We do request that you wear close-toed shoes.
Volunteer Tasks
For a description of the various positions and tasks please click here. On Monday, March 26th you will be receiving reminder e-mails for each shift you are volunteering for along with the list of tasks to be done. If you have any questions please e-mail Katie.Tickets
General Admission tickets to Taste Washington are available for purchase to all who volunteer. A one-day General Admission ticket is $40, a two-day General Admission ticket is $60. Tickets can be purchased on-site after your volunteer shift. Please bring cash or check. Checks should be made payable to Varsity Communications.Personal Belongings
Unfortunately we do NOT have a place for you to store your purse, keys, wallets, etc. So please be conscious of this and leave important items in the car.Changing or Canceling Shifts
